K*bots were a big hit at the 2007 Hong Kong K*bot Competition. Computer controlled Division 3 units went into action against each other as China got its first taste of real K*bots as they competed at the 2007 Hong Kong K*bot Competition. This competition was held at the Shaw Sports Complex, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and involved teams of students who learned design and engineering skills using competitive K*bot robotic units. Nira Krumholtz, Head of the IDEA Center and Eye On Education Association, and Phantom II Ltd. operated by Moshe Lahav from Israel were responsible for organizing this competition sponsored by Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Department of Electrical Engineering.
